Recipe – Jam Drop Cookies

Ingredients

  • Butter – 56 grams
  • Castor sugar – 35 grams
  • Vanilla essence – 1⁄2 tsp
  • Flour – 70 grams
  • Cornflour – 4 grams
  • Jam of choice – 50 grams

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together butter, sugar, and vanilla essence.
  2. Add flour and cornflour and mix it well to form a soft dough.
  3. Roll the cookies into gram-sized balls each and flatten them.
  4. Make an indent in the center of each cookie using a small spoon or your thumb.
  5. Bake at 160°C for 15 minutes.
  6. Once the cookies are cooled completely, fill the indents with jam of your choice.
