Recipe – Jam Drop Cookies
Ingredients
- Butter – 56 grams
- Castor sugar – 35 grams
- Vanilla essence – 1⁄2 tsp
- Flour – 70 grams
- Cornflour – 4 grams
- Jam of choice – 50 grams
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together butter, sugar, and vanilla essence.
- Add flour and cornflour and mix it well to form a soft dough.
- Roll the cookies into gram-sized balls each and flatten them.
- Make an indent in the center of each cookie using a small spoon or your thumb.
- Bake at 160°C for 15 minutes.
- Once the cookies are cooled completely, fill the indents with jam of your choice.
