Eggless Mango Sorbets

A refreshing, one-ingredient mango sorbet to beat the summer heat — creamy, naturally sweet, and perfect served chilled with a hint of spice

Recipe – Eggless Mango Sorbets

Ingredients

  • Ripe mangoes – 3 whole

Instructions

  1. Cut mangoes into small cubes and spread them on a tray lined with parchment.
  2. Freeze for at least 3 hours.
  3. Transfer the frozen mango cubes to a mixer grinder and churn until smooth.
  4. Scoop out the sorbet and serve with a sprinkle of red chilli powder.
  5. Keep the sorbet frozen if not consuming immediately.

Tips

  • If the mangoes are not sweet enough, add 1-2 tbsp of sugar; avoid liquid sweeteners to prevent a thin sorbet.
  • Cut even pieces of mango for uniform freezing.
  • If your freezer develops frost, place a loose piece of cling film on top of the mango cubes.
  • Churn while the mangoes are still frozen. Do not allow them to soften.
  • Avoid over-churning, as the heat from the mixer can turn the sorbet into mango juice.
