Eggless Mango Sorbets
A refreshing, one-ingredient mango sorbet to beat the summer heat — creamy, naturally sweet, and perfect served chilled with a hint of spice
Recipe – Eggless Mango Sorbets
Ingredients
- Ripe mangoes – 3 whole
Instructions
- Cut mangoes into small cubes and spread them on a tray lined with parchment.
- Freeze for at least 3 hours.
- Transfer the frozen mango cubes to a mixer grinder and churn until smooth.
- Scoop out the sorbet and serve with a sprinkle of red chilli powder.
- Keep the sorbet frozen if not consuming immediately.
Tips
- If the mangoes are not sweet enough, add 1-2 tbsp of sugar; avoid liquid sweeteners to prevent a thin sorbet.
- Cut even pieces of mango for uniform freezing.
- If your freezer develops frost, place a loose piece of cling film on top of the mango cubes.
- Churn while the mangoes are still frozen. Do not allow them to soften.
- Avoid over-churning, as the heat from the mixer can turn the sorbet into mango juice.
