Ingredients
Oats – 1 cup (90 grams)
Chopped nuts* – 3/4 cup (100 grams) (almonds/walnuts/pistachios)
Mixed seeds – 2 tbsp (flaxseeds, chia, pumpkin)
Desiccated coconut – 2 tbsp
Cocoa powder – 1 tbsp
Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tsp
Honey – 1 tbsp
Melted ghee/coconut oil – 1.5 tbsp
Mixed dried fruits – 3 tbsp (cranberries/figs/raisins)
Chocolate chips – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- In a pan, add the measured oats and dry roast for 5–7 minutes. This step is optional but helps to make the granola crunchier.
- In a large bowl, mix together the roasted oats, chopped nuts, seeds, coconut, cocoa powder, cinnamon, honey, and ghee.
- Stir well and transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for 15 minutes, then remove the tray, stir the granola, and continue to bake for another 15 minutes.
- Once slightly cool, add the dried fruits and mix well.
Notes
Serving suggestion – Serve with milk or yogurt for breakfast, or enjoy plain as a crunchy snack.
Storage – Store in an airtight jar at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Tip – Add chocolate chips only after the granola has cooled slightly to prevent melting.
