Ingredients

Butter – 28 grams
Brown sugar – 40 grams
Dates pulp – 1/4 cup
Flour – 140 grams
Milk powder – 1 tbsp
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
Milk – quantity sufficient
Walnuts – 15 grams

For Dates Pulp
Seedless dates – 20 grams
Warm water – 180–200 grams

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add butter and brown sugar and whisk together.
  2. Add dates pulp and mix well.
  3. Add flour, milk powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
  4. Then add walnuts.
  5. Adjust milk quantity accordingly to form a soft dough.
  6. Bake at 160°C for 10 minutes.
  7. For dates pulp:
  8. Soak 20 grams of seedless dates in 180–200 grams of warm water for half an hour.
  9. Blend the softened dates to form a smooth paste.

Notes
